DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) — The woman killed Wednesday night during a shooting on Catalpa Drive has been identified.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said Terri Taylor, 29, of Nimitz Drive in Dayton died after the incident at 2049 Catalpa Drive. The cause and manner of death have not been determined.
The case remains under investigation by the Dayton Police.

Police: 1 dead, 3 injured after drive-by shooting on Catalpa Drive
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) UPDATE @ 1:00 a.m.– Dayton Police say a 27- year-old woman was killed and three others are in stable condition after a drive-by shooting on Catalpa Drive.
Lt. Steven Bauer said Shot Spotter alerted them about the shooting a little after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
He said when they got to the scene they found two victims. He said two others had already been taken to the hospital.
“There’s a lot of children that live in this neighborhood,” said Lt. Bauer. “The bullets struck a neighboring house, two vehicles and four people. This could have been a much more tragic situation than it already is, unfortunately.”
Police could not share any suspect information at this time but say homicide detectives are following up with witnesses.
Dayton Police were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 2000 block of Catalpa Dr. Officers were dispatched to the disturbance at around 9:50 p.m. this evening. There were reports of multiple gunshots and several people possibly wounded.
