A pair of car dealership break-ins in Miami Twp. and Miamisburg are connected to a Dayton police pursuit that ended in a crash Wednesday afternoon, according to public records obtained by News Center 7.
Miami Twp. police were called to White Allen Volkswagen on North Springboro Pike around 6:55 a.m. after employees there found that someone broke into the dealership.

Police determined three vehicles were taken from the Miami Twp. business, dispatch records show. Shortly after the White Allen break-in was discovered, Miamisburg police found a break-in at Miamisburg Auto Sales on South Main Street around 7:25 a.m., according to dispatch records.
The owner of Miamisburg Auto Sales told News Center 7 two vehicles, including a Dodge Ram and Cadillac were stolen from his business, but were recovered by officers at the White Allen dealership.
