EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 20-year old rising music artist was shot and killed in a northeast El Paso neighborhood more than a year and a half ago. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help to identify those involved in this murder, through Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
On the night of January 26 at 11:42 p.m., 20-year old Terrance Lamont Kinard Jr., also known as “T.K.” or “T. Kizer” went to a house party at the 8800 block of Mt. Whitney. When T.K. arrived, he walked past the house party to meet with two other men, just a few houses away.
Detectives believe that during the meeting, one of the men pulled out a handgun and fatally shot T.K. Both men fled from the area, and T.K. died at the scene.
One of the men he met with is described as a Black male, approximately in his thirties, heavy build, and had a beard. The other is described as a Black male, in his twenties, described as being very tall and very thin. Detectives know that someone has information as to the identity of these two men, believed to be T.K.’s killers.
