ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A five day search for an armed robbery suspect man comes to an end Sunday in Albany.

Lance Treadwell

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has been searching for 47-year old Lance Treadwell for his involvement in an armed robbery of an Xtra Mart in New Baltimore Wednesday. He was also wanted for a parole warrant.

Albany Police tell CBS6 they were notified by Greene County Sunday around noon that Treadwell was at a residence on Manning Boulevard.

The Albany City Police Emergency Services Team responded to the home where they say Treadwell barricaded himself.

An armored vehicle was seen in front of the home as officers had their rifles drawn.

Just before 6 p.m., you could see law enforcement carry him out of the home.

Authorities say the Emergency Services Team was able to gain entry into the residence and located Treadwell unconscious.

The 47-year old was then taken to Albany Medical Center to get evaluated.
