COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — The Columbus Division of Police says a body found by a passerby in north Columbus is the city’s 100th homicide victim.

Authorities said the body was found behind Wickes Body Shop in the 1600 block of E. Hudson Monday around 9 a.m. when a man called police and said he found a woman in the alley and thought she was dead.null

Officers arrived and the victim, who remains unidentified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Columbus Police said the victim had multiple stab wounds.

The investigation continues. Police said no witnesses have come forward yet.
