Columbus police have identified two men they believe are responsible for the shooting death of a man in the parking lot of the Sunbury Market on Labor Day.

Arrests warrants on murder charges were filed Wednesday against Tylan Chance Sims and Adonis Terrell Walker, both 22 and from the Northwest Side. The two remained at large as of midafternoon Thursday.

The two are accused of shooting Dezujwuan Pyfrom, 20, about 3 p.m. Monday.

Homicide detectives state in court records that Pyfrom was parking his truck in the lot outside the convenience store at 1485 Sunbury Road when two men opened fire on him. The two then fled. One was believed to be driving a black Dodge Charger.

Pyfrom’s death was the 101st homicide in Columbus this year.
