HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
A Hendersonville murder investigation has resulted in the arrests of three young men from Murfreesboro.
Monterrious Moore, 20, Thomas Watson, 19, and Keion Hayes, 22, have all been arrested and charged with first degree murder and aggravated robbery related to the death of Dorian Banks, 22, of Gallatin.
Monday at around 4:30 p.m. Hendersonville Police say they responded to a shooting that sparked from an apparent drug deal in the parking lot of the Dodge’s Fried Chicken Gas Station on West Main Street. Banks was shot and rushed to Hendersonville Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Hendersonville detectives tracked down the suspects in Murfreesboro and Nashville with help from the Metro Police and Murfreesboro Police departments.
Moore and Watson are being held in the Sumner County Jail. In addition to the first degree murder and aggravated robbery charges, Hayes also faces a possession of a weapon during commission of a dangerous felony. He is being held in the Rutherford County Jail on unrelated charges with a hold from the Sumner County Jail.
